The group exhibition features work by eight international artists, all experimenting with the medium of painting. from sharp to faded nuances, each featured painting embodies a different approach towards the medium and the pictorial surface. The research of each artist focused on the stratification of color, the illusion of texture or the suggestion of volumes.
There is, however, a stylistic thread throughout the whole exhibition, which is the ever-present oscillation between figuration and abstraction. Even when the subject matter is clearly recognizable, there is always a vague sense of unknown lingering on the surface of the canvas, making it difficult to fully grasp a situation or a figure.

Moreover, the interesting aspect about the show in its totality is that it delivers a sense of a-temporality, as well as suggesting the existence of a different kind of space, one that is not located in the here and now: it is, indeed, the space of A MOMENT.

Each work depicts a place or an object impossible to fix in a specific time frame or geographical origin: from the singular painting to the whole, the exhibition creates a space of possibility, a shared experience condensed into one singular moment.
